Hello everyone, we are back with another update for you all! If you don’t want to read all the post and just want a TLDR, just finishing reading the entire paragraph. As of right now we believe that the PCBs are about 2 weeks away from arriving due to there being New Years overseas so many manufactures have slowed down production along with extra covid procedures. In the meantime, while we are awaiting the shipments, we are now pre-packing everyone’s orders so that when the PCBs do arrive, it is time to ship out after inspecting and flashing. So, when we make an announcement of when the PCBs do arrive, expect your order to be shipped out in the next week. Along with that, in the next week or so, be on the lookout for an email from us that is confirming your address! This one is important so please be sure to confirm your address with us.
Now that the summary is over, lets go more in-depth into recent events. As you all know we are still waiting on the PCBs to arrive, and we expect it to be another 2 weeks until they finally get here. Our manufacture has told us that the boards have been made but have yet to be assembled. Since our order was a redo, our boards were not exactly at the top of the list and the manufacture had other projects to start first. On top of that, New years celebration as well as extra covid restrictions have slowed down production making us wait those extra few weeks. Though once they arrive, we will have to test, flash, and package all the PCBs which will take us about 1 week to get through. Then we can finally ship out! Both boards will come pre-flashed with the hot-swap layout, but we will have a list of presets for the soldered board. If you want an even more custom layout, we will show you how to flash your PCB with any layout you would like.
As for the pre-packing, since we have extra time, we are re-inspecting all the parts while putting them into their respective orders. They have already been checked twice, but a third round of inspections won’t hurt. All the boards will come preassembled excluding the PCB, plate and accessories, meaning you will have to dissemble before putting everything else in. In case you forget how to reassemble it, there will be a card inside the box showing where all the necessary screws go. Also, before the boards are shipped out, there will be a build guide video on how to assemble the board if you are still confused!
Lastly, we will be sending out an email confirming your shipping address. It is crucial that you reply to the email and let us know that the shipping info is in fact correct. Any final changes must be made 1 week prior to the final shipping date. And please reply by email, messaging me on discord is more convenient, but since we need to keep track of everything officially, we will need a reply email for the confirmation of your shipping info.
If you have made it this far, thanks for being patient with us and see you in the next update! Once again, if you have any concerns, questions, or shipping information changes, please contact any one of the team members through discord and we can help!
